Marvel Studios has dropped a bombshell at Comic-Con 2023, revealing a brand new superhero film titled "Doomsday." The film, set for release on May 1, 2026, will mark the official introduction of the Fantastic Four's greatest villain, Doctor Doom, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
During Marvel Studios' blockbuster Hall H presentation, it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. will return to the MCU as Doctor Doom in "Avengers: Doomsday." This marks a significant return for Downey Jr., who previously portrayed Iron Man from 2008 to 2019.
