Manchester United's impressive four-match winning run in the Premier League came to an abrupt end on Sunday as they were stunned 3-1 at home by Arsenal.
Despite taking an early lead through Antony, the Red Devils were outplayed by a clinical Arsenal side who took control of the game in the second half.
Goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Granit Xhaka sealed the victory for the Gunners, who moved back to the top of the league table.
United started the match brightly and took the lead in the 35th minute when Antony tapped home from close range after a cross from Jadon Sancho.
However, Arsenal equalized just five minutes later through Saka, who finished off a slick move involving Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus.
The visitors took the lead in the 56th minute when Martinelli fired home from the edge of the box after a mistake by United goalkeeper David de Gea.
United pushed for an equalizer but were caught on the counterattack in the 75th minute, with Xhaka slotting home from the edge of the area to make it 3-1.
Rashford scored a stunning goal in the 82nd minute to reduce the deficit, but it was too little too late for Erik ten Hag's side.
The defeat leaves United in sixth place in the table, five points behind Arsenal.
