Breaking Down the NFL Playoff Picture
With the NFL playoffs set to begin next week, let's take a look at the current standings and what to expect
AFC
The Kansas City Chiefs secured the AFC's top seed with a 14-3 record, earning a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, and Jacksonville Jaguars round out the top three seeds.
The Ravens, Dolphins, Jets, and Chargers round out the remaining playoff teams in the AFC.
The Bengals and Bills will face off in the Divisional Round, while the Jaguars will host the Chargers.
NFC
The Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC's top seed with a 14-3 record, earning a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers round out the top three seeds.
The Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, and Washington Commanders round out the remaining playoff teams in the NFC.
The Vikings and Giants will face off in the Wild Card round, while the Seahawks will host the Commanders.
Super Bowl LVII
The Super Bowl will be held on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The AFC and NFC Championship Games will be held on January 29th, 2023.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the current favorites to win the Super Bowl, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals.
